“Nice place , right on the water , clean , beds were firm, otherwise really good . My only suggestion, hand towels and facial tissue would have been nice . There were only bath towels . But we had a good time fall colors were spectacular ”

“My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It is exactly as listed and the views are simply stunning. The best day of the trip was the day we snowshoed around the property with the snowshoes provided. There is a clearly marked trail through the woods and a map of all the trails in the house. The house is well insulated and the wood burning stove is easy to use. Plenty of pots and pans so we cooked every meal in the house. We will definitely be coming back to see other seasons. ”

“This place is awesome for larger groups. We came to ski and sightsee in the Keweenaw. This was a return trip the Canal View house and we look forward to returning in the future.Everything about the accommodations is as good as you could ever hope to find. There are relaxing social spaces, sweeping views, a perfectly stocked kitchen, and plenty of sleeping space.If you are looking for a very nice place at a great price, this is the one to book! Thanks for the stay!”

“My husband, myself and our boys spent 3 nights at this beautiful cabin. We spent the days ice fishing, swimming, relaxing, and more swimming. The cabin provided everything would need from the kitchen, towels and plenty of extra blankets/pillows. Tim and Melanie were alway very quick to respond to any questions we had. “This place has everything you need for even an extended time in a small space: air fryer, dishes, coffee maker and tabletop stove. My only concern is that the fire alarm started beeping as soon as we turned on the air fryer because of food residue at the bottom. Aside from that I greatly enjoyed my stay!”
