“We had a fantastic time overall. The garden is large and stunning. The house is roomy and very comfortable. We were pleased to find there is a bath in the ensuite and a 3rd toilet downstairs as that wasn't clear from the listing. It would have been helpful to have instructions for appliances and remotes.There were also a few problems with one bedroom door hinge and the bedroom curtains were all difficult to open and close.”

“Wonderful, spacious and comfortable property. Very quiet with a beautiful outlook over the countryside. Well-equipped kitchen so great for cooking. Golf courses were all within 20 mins drive, as are the range of supermarkets and shopping in Douglas, and Castletown Links is thoroughly recommended. Port Erin is lovely and we had delicious fish and chips there. A slightly slow draining shower tray and a rather dated TV were the only minor drawbacks but we'd return in a shot! Thanks for having us.”

“Lovely place. We stayed with our small dog for a couple of nights. Facilities are amazing, golf, spa, swimming, gym, etc. Set in beautiful, peaceful grounds with easy access to Douglas (20 min drive) We had a 3 course meal in one of the restaurants and not only was the food amazing and very reasonably priced for the quality but it really felt like they went the extra mile... and were happy to. The chef prepared a special sauce to accomodate my partners food intolerances and the dog was...

“The hotel was lovely, staff were all very friendly especially the cleaning staff, the room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. We booked a sea view room for the weekend from the pictures online thinking we would have seats looking out to the sea however the room simply had a high window, we could see the sea from it though! This was the only real downfall. The breakfast was lovely. The lounge area was beautiful. The room was a bit small for the price but had everything we needed...

“My favourite hotel in Douglas and very near to everywhere I need to walk to for work. Friendly, lovely big rooms (they upgraded me free of charge to a huge room as I stay often). Great view over the sea front. Breakfast is quality - good ingredients, cooked to order. Very happy with everything.”

“Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included. Juice,cereal, bacon etc. Very good. Asked for a slight change and it was no problem. Delia the lady was amazing. Nothing too much...
