Upon arriving, the unit was at best moderately clean. There were bugs (alive and dead), dishes were mostly dirty and sheets on the bed were at least stained, if not left dirty.
Additionally, the A/C in the unit was not functioning properly causing uncomfortable warmth during the day and sleeping wasn’t pleasant. After 3 days of trying to contact the facility and Vacasa, it was finally addressed.
The shower drain was clogged upon arrival with a large amount of hair, which was also resolved after 3 days.
On the 5th day of the trip, Vacasa finally contacted me about the bugs in the unit, saying they would send someone out but they never came. The representative was not aware of the dirty sheets, clogged shower drain or the AC issues.
The review is only at 2 stars due to price and location, but the overall guest experience was not great. Communication was a big issue as well as the unresolved bug issue.
Note - come prepared with plenty of household essentials. There was no hand soap. Only 2 trash bags, 1 laundry detergent use, 1 dishwasher detergent use, and 1 paper towel were provided for our 6-day reservation. Management left enough of the essentials for a 2-day stay, much less than needed for a 6-day stay. Also, come prepared with all food essentials if planning on cooking. There are no basic essentials such as salt/pepper or cooking oil provided.
I would likely come back to this particular condominium location but look for units not managed by vacasa.
