Cozy with lots of space, easy access to I-25
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was very close to I-25, with gas stations and a Target close by. Easy to get to/from most parts of Denver, and about a 30 min drive to Denver International Airport. Unit was clean, and had plenty of space for us. The beds were comfy and cozy. One of the two rooms has a ceiling fan, and both have full size closets. In-unit laundry was a huge plus. Noise from those walking upstairs was minimal, but expected given that this rental is a basement unit. Only complaints: barking from the dogs upstairs woke us up a few mornings. Also, there was no accessible light switch for the light above the stairs, which would have been nice since we came in at night a few times during the stay. Street parking was available, but given that this is a residential street, there were not always spots available directly in front of the house. The owners have done a great job with the renovations and decor in this unit and this is the perfect amount of space for 2-4 people visiting Denver. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our stay
The apartment was super cute, very cozy, and exactly what we needed for our weekend stay. It was just as advertised, and was a perfect home away from home. Although it was small, it didn’t feel cramped. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely Basement Apartment
This basement apartment is fantastic. Wonderful amenities and much more comfortable than a hotel. Beds were quite comfortable and the sectional sofa was comfortable enough to sleep on! Will stay here again when I visit. Thank you for being a great host!

disappointing to say the least.
Recently my daughter and I spent a couple of days in Denver on a college visit. Soon after we checked in I noticed that the plastic toilet seat in the unit had a crack right through one side of it. My daughter and I were actually giggling about the weight limit of toilet seats and I even told her in seriousness to her careful if she sat bc it could pinch skin. My daughter and I are both on the small side and would not / could not have broken it. We were two people who basically only spent time in the unit late in the evening after campus tours and visiting my niece in Boulder. We certainly didn’t have any sort of crazy party or anything and did not break that toilet seat. When the owner messaged me about it and said I would be charged I immediately replied and got no response. I followed up the next day and still no response. Given that I thought possibly she realized she made a mistake and was able to confirm that we didn’t break it so didn’t charge us. However, I got our credit card bill today, and sure enough, she charged us. I have tried repeatedly to connect with her and it seems as if she has decided to ghost us. I literally never leave negative reviews for anything and I know its really only $50, but this really has me frustrated and leery of using another VRBO since it seems that one can so easily one can be taken advantage of

We came to Denver for a weekend trip and this place was in a great location. The pictures are very accurate and I thought parking would be an issue but there was ample street parking.
