Great view, OK accommodations
The view and tranquility are amazing. However, some simple touches could have made it excellent and seem more than just a place they no longer need other than to make money. I understand this is a vacation rental, but still... There were only paper towels in the kitchen, no napkins and no tissues in the bathrooms. No bath soap, either. I didn't expect shampoo, but I also didn't expect empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower that I had to throw away. The towels are mismatched and old, obviously ones that were no longer needed or were too ratty for their new home and could be spared to use in the rental. The overhead lights in the fans in several rooms had blown and/or missing lightbulbs. And the lamp next to the sofa wasn't even plugged in as there's no outlet. This isn't a place to relax with a book because you'll strain your eyes. There's only one nightstand (although there's room for two) in the room with the queen bed, but instead of a lamp it's covered with the WIFI equipment. There is a second nightstand in the master bedroom, but only one lamp - who gets to use it? There's only a straight-back dining chair in the master bedroom in case you want to sit on something other than the bed. And nothing more than the bed(s) in the other rooms. The coffee cups I took out of the cabinet were obviously rinsed and put away, not washed, as there were coffee spots and rings on them. That's probably because, despite the cleaning fee charged, the owners require that guests load and start the dishwasher, take out the trash, and strip the beds and pile all the linens and towels themselves - I already paid the cleaning fee and although I complied to not be charged additional fees that were referred to in "the rules", there were apparently other people who didn't. There's trash in the closets, left behind by whomever staged the rooms. Empty store bags and the leftover boxes, bags, and debris from the bedspreads and such that they purchased to put in the rooms. The WIFI changed, but no one bothered to note it in the house information. There's a smart TV with firestick, and they offer YouTube. However, they never mentioned that you have to set the TV to HDMI3 to get it to work. These took a while to figure out. The A/C was out, and the owner offered no compensation until we pushed. For some reason he kept saying other guests set the a/c to 58 and froze the unit, which wasn't pertinent to us. He did eventually offer a discount.

This property was a bit out of the way. After arriving I felt like the pics are a bit misleading. The living room and kitchen seemed newer and the bedrooms were part of an older structure. The house was clean. I asked a question through the VRBO app it was never answered.

Great Home Away From Home
The house is in a perfect location overlooking the lake. It is a quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfy, the house was clean and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to stay while celebrating my son’s graduation from pilot training.

Stunning with gorgeous views!
My family and I enjoyed staying in this stunning home. It met all of our needs. We enjoyed everything this house has to offer and loved being able to utilize the on-site storage shop for our oversized truck. We took advantage of grilling outdoors and enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset. We most definitely will be returning guests. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. One request is perhaps having a front porch light for the evenings when returning, it was a bit dark.

Great getaway
After backpacking in Big bend, we stayed here to rest and relax before making drive back to Houston. It was a nice little hidden gem in an area of Texas most don't know about and worth visiting. The house comfortable and had all the amenities you would need. The guest host was super attentive and ensured our stay was comfortable. The sunset over the lake was beautiful and watching deer come close to the house was pretty special.

Amazing views
Was in DelRio to fish with a buddy. Showed up on check in day and was amazed with the views of San Pedro. The house is tucked way back at the back of the neighborhood giving you the feel of being on vacation and not so much in a neighborhood. The house itself is a little old, with some updates. We made use of having a dryer onsite as it rained an entire day. The beds were suprisingly wonderful. Would love to come back with whole family. Only critiques/suggestions as this is a vacation home: Pillows- the pillows are the same in the 3 rooms I checked and all large. So i bought a smaller profile pillow and would suggest you bring your own. There are ceiling fans in the rooms but no ground fans. None of the outside lights worked which made it difficult to load truck/boat in the early mornings before sunrise. A little expensive for 2 fisherman only there to sleep, but this is a great place to bring a family or 2. The master is ensuite bath, but even the second biggest room is plenty large for another couple...also with a GREAT view of the lake. Thank you for letting us stay at your property.
