Increíble propiedad con hermosas truchas surtidas arroyo corriendo a través de él. Disfrute de la terraza con vista al arroyo o siéntese en la bañera de hidromasaje y relájese. Este es un lugar verdaderamente tranquilo para relajarse y disfrutar del aire libre.
Solo min. lejos de los establos de equitación de Leatherwood. Puede ir de compras en Boone, Blowing Rock o dirigirse a Tweetsie Railroad, o las cavernas de Linville con 20 minutos. Zipline o Gem Mining también es uno de los favoritos de nuestros huéspedes.

Relaxing Vacation
My husband has always wanted a vacation where there were no schedules to keep. And that is what we got. We had a very relaxing, uneventful stay. My husband fished everyday, pretty much all day in the stocked creek literally in the back yard. I did some crafting and lots of reading. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The king bed is very comfortable. Check-in/Check-out was simple. WiFi was a little choppy and there is NO cell service. The area is very remote which makes for a very peaceful stay. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

Recent stay
We had a grand time on our recent stay in Deep Gap. The location was extremely remote but there were people around (you witnessed this on the road). Caution that a portion of this location is on a gravel road (leaving Wilkes and into Watauga Co). There is very minimal internet/wi-fi/cell phone service in the area - so be prepared. There is wi-fi/internet serve within the cabin (no worries about that) but my satellite radio/GPS/cell phone did not work for a considerable amount of time traveling from the house to town. Make you plans while you are in the house and have access to wi-fi. Otherwise, the trip was EXACTLY what we wanted. My daughter (9) played in the back yard/creek for an entire day. It was so peaceful and relaxing and well off the beaten path! We loved our time at the cabin.

Cozy Mtn Retreat
We enjoyed our stay here! The creek was a great area for the kids to play…shallow and easy access. We were optimistic about fishing since it is highlighted in the listing, but didn’t have any luck. There were a few things in the cabin that seemed to be overlooked during housecleaning. The appliances were nice, there was enough room for our family of 5, and we appreciated the washer and dryer. I missed that there was not a tv in the master, that would have been nice for after the kids were in bed. We enjoyed the proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, and Boone. We also took a day trip to Damascus to ride the VA Creeper Trail. Overall, a nice stay and great weekend!

Overall great stay.
Cute cozy cabin with everything you need. Make sure you have everything food wise when you arrive, closest store is 40 minutes away. Many spots to swim and fish down the road to walk or couple minutes drive. Me and my kids enjoyed it, nobody wanted to leave. You can tube up and down the creek. Cough some trout and grilled it, was the best. If you plan any trips to Grandfather mountain or zip lining, make it a day trip. I did my gps in before I left the house, so directions worked the whole way to destination. Otherwise reception is bad. The same on the way back. Will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway!
The house was very clean and well stocked with what we needed. We loved walking around the property when we could (it rained most of the weekend). We relaxed and did a puzzle that was provided. We went up for my husband’s birthday and the Super Bowl - we cooked both nights and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable (king!) and very clean. The washer dryer was great as we had a few items we needed to clean while we were there. The host responded same day with any questions I had. Hot tub was awesome too. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend.

Peaceful “off grid” weekend
The cozy cabin is just what your mind pictures for a vacation of solitude while also enjoying modern day comforts. The appliances are new, kitchen well stocked, beds very comfortable. Our family especially appreciated the multitude of towels as we frequented the hot tub! Check in is simple and host was accommodating. The drive to Boone is quite mountainous with steep curves but the drive from Raleigh was straightforward.

Cabin by the creek
Cabin was nice, clean and comfortable. King size bed was a +. Outside stairs might be a problem for elderly people or pets. Construction happening next door and busy, dusty road was a bummer. Loved the creek for trout fishing, and peaceful sound of the water. It’s always nice to get away so for the most part we enjoyed our stay.
