"Trout Retreat" es una cabaña de troncos real y auténtica que se encuentra a solo quince minutos de Boone (a pocos minutos de la Blue Ridge Pkwy) y se encuentra en una postal como en 21 hermosos acres con casi 1/2 milla de clase Una corriente de truchas abastecida que corre directamente detrás de la cabina. La corriente, Elk Creek, está clasificada como la segunda corriente más limpia de toda Carolina del Norte. Si está buscando una cabaña junto al arroyo, no encontrará una mejor ubicación en ningún lado. Hay abundante vida silvestre, incluyendo truchas, venados, pavos, zorros, castores y aves.

La cabaña Trout Retreat tiene capacidad para hasta cuatro personas con una cama King, un sofá cama, dos baños completos y una cocina completa e incluye todos los utensilios, ropa de cama y toallas necesarios para que su estadía sea cómoda. The place is real nice. The only bad thing is the heater Don't heat the downstairs. And the upstairs is hot as crap I had my elderly mom with me and she about froze to death.

Great place to unwind
We enjoyed the weekend at this very nice, clean cabin. The location on the stream and the screened porch were perfect to get away from the everyday stress, not to mention a great hot tub under the stars. Awesome way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We would definitely stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed the back porch after we washed all the dust from the road off the chairs. There were a couple of cleanliness items in one of the cabinets we had to take care of but after that it was a nice cozy cabin to unwind in. There was a new grill to use and had the creek not been low, the fishing would have been better I believe. Overall it was a good stay.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet & peaceful, the creek & surrounding area was beautiful. We like to walk & found the road to be safe & walkable. The hot tub was clean & very relaxing. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the gas fireplace & the fire pit outside. Would stay here again for sure!

Too Busy
Beautiful property, cabin is nice & well stocked, could use some cornhole boards as creek water was low & fishing was not great but caught a few small trout. Thankfully no one was in the other cabin or that would have been a HUGE problem as you share a yard, its only separated by a driveway. gravel & dirt road is super close to cabin & extremely busy. The dust was horrible!!! Would not stay again due to road & other cabin proximity.

We loved our stay at the trout retreat! Cabin was adorable and rustic. Kitchen was well equipped (one of the better VRBO kitchens we’ve had!). Me, my son and our dog loved the stream and had a blast playing, floating, bumping and fishing. Would definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful week of peace and quiet. This was perfect for my wife & I to unwind and refill our tanks with rest and relaxation. While spending a lot of time on the screened in porch, listening to the calm of a babbling brook (trout stream), reading, coffee, table games, and just sitting & soaking up the silence was terrific. We did venture around the area & have always loved the Appalachian mountains. The hosts were very responsive to a question and all is as advertised. Would HIGHLY recommend and hope to return someday. :) Thank you for a great week in the valley.

Serenity and peaceful
We arrived a little early. But was met with a beautiful clean cabin. " I want one" LoL. Nothing but good vibes in this cozy retreat. Next door neighbor came over and introduced himself. He and I fished a lot. We just needed this, some traffic on the road but later it just got quiet. I didn't touch my phone the whole stay. It was a great 25th anniversary. Thank you so much

Anniversary weekend
We were absolutely amazed at how beautiful everything was from the log cabin,to the stream outside.was very happy finding a waterfall down from the property..all in all our stay was excellent. We will definitely be back next year for anniversary number 2.

A relaxing retreat by the river
We loved our stay at this charming cabin by a river. We felt immersed in nature and it was super quiet and restful. The road is not well traveled. We loved the huge screen porch overlooking the forest and river. The hot tub was very well maintained. This cabin is best for a couple as there's only one bed and not much privacy within the cabin.

Amazing as always!
We came here 2 summers ago and stayed in Creekside cabin and fell in love with the surroundings! You can hear the creek everywhere you are, even while inside the cabin. When returning for a long Easter weekend, we brought family and rented the other cabin on the property as well (Trout Retreat) which made for a fun-filled, yet relaxing, mountain retreat. The cabins have all the necessities, but we spent most of our time exploring the creek, having daytime picnics, evening bonfires by the creek, as well as letting our dogs run around enjoying themselves in this amazing mountain oasis! We will be back again!

Lovely Cabin Stay
Our stay was perfect. We enjoyed cooking over the fire pit while relaxing by the trout stream. There was plenty of hiking nearby and then we grilled out on the bbq, ate on the screened in porch and had a soak in the sparkling clean jacuzzi. The cabin was spotlessly clean and we had plenty of towels and blankets. It was cozy to sit in front of the fireplace on a rainy evening and the bed was very comfortable. Everything about our stay was great. We will definitely come again! Our hosts were very responsive when we had questions before arrival.
