Not worth the price!!!
I was thrilled to book this luxury rental for our daughter’s wedding weekend, expecting it to be perfect for family traveling in from across the country. While I didn’t mind the high price if it met expectations, the stay was disappointing. Shortly after check-in, the owner informed me the hot tub wasn’t working and the pool was leaking—issues mentioned in previous reviews. This was a major letdown.The towels were basic and insufficient for all the bathrooms. The freezer barely opened, the ice maker didn’t work, and there was a large trash can in the kitchen with no bags provided. Toiletries were comparable to those at a budget motel, not a luxury property.Construction was ongoing next door and across the street. While not the owner’s fault, this should have been disclosed given the premium price. Check-in was another hassle. Though I requested an early check-in and received confirmation, security had no record of our reservation. Adding family members to the gate list caused more confusion, leading to access being denied for one group.Overall, this experience fell far short of what was promised, making it a disappointing and frustrating stay during an important family event.

Great for family gathering
The property is large enough to accommodate a large family gathering very comfortably. We all thought the beds were very comfortable! Loved the close proximity to the ocean. Property hosts are quick to respond to any questions. We would book this again.

Great Place
We had a family function staying here. The house was very comfortable with plenty of places to enjoy each other's company. The design of the house is fabulous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach was fun multiple times of the day.

Fabulous house!
This house is fabulous. I recently stayed here with a group of 12 women. We've been getting together for 17 years and this was the best house yet. There was plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we prepared and it's one of the only houses we've rented that had a large enough dining table and enough chairs for all of us. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms have great views for either sunrise or sunset. Overall we loved this place and will likely rent it again for our next gathering.

AMAZING
This place is beautiful. Easy check in & out. Lots of room to spread out. Everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom. There was plenty of pool & beach stuff to use. Gated community, which was cool. Pretty neighborhood. Going back :)

Mother's 80th Birthday Celebration
It was simply amazing, the atmosphere was set from the moment we arrived on property. Everyone was excited about the house and their rooms. The house was perfect for the space we needed. We enjoyed the beach watching the sunrise and the walk on the beach. Which was minutes away from the house. I truley recommend this home for your families and the property owner was amazing in any of our needs and concerns. Thanks for making our time spent Amazing!

Space and location
We loved that the beach was in a walk of the house. The space was perfect since everyone works together and doesn't live together, it was nice that everyone had their own space for the stay. Everyone had a wonderful time and it was a great relationship builder.

Beautiful property, but it has issues
We found the house to be lovely with a very nice layout that broke it up enough to provide quiet and private spaces for when we needed a break from each other. (As always, tile floors make a house loud when there are a bunch of people together.) The property had a private view of a lake in a quiet neighborhood. The elevator was helpful for moving luggage and groceries. The furnishings were nice in all spaces, including comfy beds, pillows, towels & linens. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment & dishes we needed for 6 days of cooking (including Thanksgiving dinner)! There were a ton of beach towels, beach toys and a beach wheelbarrow, making trips to the beach with kids a dream. The neighborhood is quiet & the clean beach is very close, as are 2 community pools. Publix (nice grocery store) is within a couple miles of the house. There are walking & bike trails through the community plus a huge playground for kids of all ages a few miles away. However, we had several issues that came up during our 5 night stay, & fortunately the owner was quick to respond to most of them. When we arrived the disposal didn’t work, but the plumber showed up quickly and repaired it. The beautiful jacuzzi tub in a second floor bathroom, when drained, flooded into the bathroom below it. For the rest of the stay we could not use that tub. The drier was “due for service” and would not complete a dry cycle without being opened to cool down. The jacuzzi would not heat up every time we wanted to use it. Fortunately we had 2 engineers in the family who could prime the pump when we wanted to use it (multiple times each day). The owner gave us instructions and expected the pool company to fix it (but that never happened). A few minor issues included the fact that there was no hospitality binder. In every VRBO we have rented there has been a binder full of restaurant and local entertainment recommendations, plus instructions for equipment or televisions. That was disappointing. A few of the Bedroom Rokus did not work. On arrival we immediately had to shop for dishwasher detergent, paper towels & bathroom soap. But there was plenty of laundry detergent & drier sheets for the entire stay. The ice maker does not have the capacity for ice for 8 adults + kids even in November. But there is a 2nd fridge in the garage to store bags of ice. The 2 provided bikes are not fit to ride. We won’t rent this property again, but possibly another in the neighborhood.

Great for large groups!
Very nice place for large groups. We had 12 people all in all and plenty of space and bedrooms. All the amenities. Short walk to the beach. The boardwalk is right next to the house. 6 master en suite bedrooms makes it easy for room assignments. Nice pool and hot tub. Great, well appointed kitchen and several indoor and outdoor sitting areas.

Lovely home
Home was beautiful & well spread out. Our big group did not feel crowded at all & everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Beds & furniture were comfortable. The pool was a big hit ( there were a few hiccups with turning the hot tub on & off, but once that was resolved, it was great) The beach itself is rocky & not really suitable for younger kids to hang out in, without supervision.

Perfect for family getaway
The home is beautiful and well decorated. The kitchen is stocked with top of the line appliances, pots, pans, utensils along with plenty of dishes and cutlery for a large group. There was plenty of space inside and out. The private pool and hot tub were especially convenient with the younger kids. We've stayed at Ocean Hammock in the past and love the pools at the resort. The walk to the beach and pools was .25 miles so the wagon came in handy! The owners was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Everyone had a great time!
