“The newly constructed River Barn is a great spot with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. You can wander down along the river which is part of the property, our little dog had a great time exploring. The listing on Stayz was unfortunately misleading, stating a travel time of 53min to Mt Hotham whereas the road is actually closed in winter so it's 3+ hours which scuttled our snowboarding plans. The driveway is a bit dicey - if you have a car with low clearance you might struggle....

“We arrived at a lovely warm house. Place was spacious and cozy. Sadly, we found that there had been mice in our beds and a number of the beds had been soiled with mouse excrement. A family of mice were present in the kitchen area and had left their mark in drawers, cupboards and a couch. Put a dampener on the stay and we were not able to have this issue resolved with clean bedding. Just an offer of some mouse bait to place around the property.”
