Overall, a great place to stay, but pay attention!
This is a beautiful, super clean, and nicely appointed two bedroom/two bath in Old East Dallas that was perfectly located for all the things we wanted to cover in three days—10–15 minutes to downtown, Katy trail, Country Club neighborhood for a great walking tour, lots of food and drink options, and just about every kind of shopping, from high end to consignment. Some might find the area slightly sketchy—at least along certain stretches of the busy street on which the apartment sits, but it’s also surrounded by new apartment builds, nice smaller homes, lots of people walking dogs. If you Uber or have your own car, getting around at night will be fine. Some words to the wise: Commit the host instructions to memory or snap some photos of the important bits, including the name and number of the local emergency contact outside of host hours (8p.m to 8 a.m.) and the warning to make sure none of the deadbolts are bolted when you leave. We forgot to do so, and the garage door opener failed when we were coming home one night after a show and we couldn’t get in. That has never been an issue for me at any VRBO, but there’s a first time for everything. Also, if, like us, you can’t figure out where the second bathroom is located, make sure to close the second bedroom door. It’s large, and when it’s fully open it blocks the entrance. Otherwise, hard to go wrong if this is the section of Dallas you want to be in.

Nice place BUT extremely challenging communication and needed a car
This was our second VRBO after our first one turned out to be a scam. Once we arrived, the code that we were given to enter did not work. I tried to contact the owner, but got voicemail. With myself on the phone with VBRO And my friend on the app chatting with a VBRO rep, we spent over an hour trying to get in touch with someone to get to the owner so that we could get the correct code to enter the property. The frustrating thing was once we got in touch with the owner, we were accused of not having read the instructions. It took me sending a screenshot of the email I received with the incorrect entry code for the owner to realize she had not changed the code. Then she blamed VRBO for having a difficult site to navigate. Once we got inside, the property was fine and would’ve been good if we could’ve gotten in earlier with our bag of groceries and luggage. By the time we got in, we were not in any mood to cook. Then there was a storm which was not the owners problem, but it knocked out the Wi-Fi. We both brought work to do on our laptops and also the TV is a smart TV that only worked with Wi-Fi. So second full day was a bust. We contacted the numbers given for problems and spent much of the day trying to get ahold of either the owner or her property manager to help us try to troubleshoot the problem. Also note, it’s not a good walking neighborhood so you need a car.

Perfect location and great for families
I traveled to Dallas with my mom and 10 year old daughter for a quick trip to go to the aquarium and arboretum. I chose the condo primarily because of the private garage, and I'm so glad I did. The place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and had great space to spread out. We had a little trouble at check in, but Lisa was super responsive and helpful. The kitchen was great to cook in. The location is wonderful, very close to restaurants and museums. The only con was the mattresses are on the firm side, so if you prefer a soft mattress like I do it's not as comfortable. My mom and daughter both said they slept fine, I just prefer something soft. Would definitely stay here again!

All aspects of this stay were easy and nice. We LOVED the garage. We really liked the big windows. There are easy to use blinds if you prefer them to be covered. I saw a different review that said the outside noise was bothersome. We didn't have that issue. Great kitchen with nice appliances. The living area is bigger than the picture shows. The steps are quite steep so it's not necessarily the place for someone who might struggle with this. Lots of closet space. Nice sized primary shower.

Lots of space & super clean
This is our second time staying in the same place. It is really nice. It is super clean, has tons of great space, a lot of tvs, nice kitchen, a private garage, quiet, easy to get any place as it is near the main highway, restaurants nearby. Very easy communication with quick response. Just perfect. Already know we will stay there next time we are in for business

I stayed here with some friends for my birthday to be closer to all the fun things in Dallas. The house itself is beautiful & I love all of the windows!! It was close to everything, literally, I would look places up and they would be 10 minutes away. They have a pizza place across the street that sells until 4am which makes it that much better. The only downside I could think of is the stairs, you have a large set to get to the living & kitchen and then another large set to get to the bedrooms. If you have good knees it’s definitely worth it!

Wonderful Stay!
We loved staying in this townhouse! It thoroughly met our needs. Convenient to all areas of Dallas. The unit is well stocked for cooking. Beds are very comfortable. Water pressure in showers was good. The only thing to be aware of is that there are ALOT of stairs - this layout would not work for anyone with physical challenges. Also, it says that there is a 2 car garage, and while the garage is quite spacious the turning angles make parking two cars in it nearly impossible. However, there is plenty of street parking so there should be no worries about that.

Loved everything about the unit. It’s impeccably clean and appointed with everything one may need while staying in the unit. There was a bit of music noise on weekend nights, but the comfort of the bed made up for any noise issues.

Fresh new and as nice as the pictures show, be aware of neighborhood noise
This place is nice, exactly as pictured. AC was strong, having a garage was really sweet. Location is within walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. Took a ton of neighborhood walks and the beautiful Katy path is just a short walk away. Only downside is, on Thursday night the pumping music from the strip mall across the street went til midnight. Friday night I heard it until 2am when I finally fell asleep. It seems the locals like to race their cars down the street during these times as well. Nothing the property owner can do, it seems to be acceptable to the entire apartment area as I never saw the cops show up. Just part of the scene I guess. I would stay here again, but might target early to mid-week when it's quieter.

Great place to stay in a great location. Definitely will be booking again. Everything from the garage to the top floor was clean. The kitchen is equipped if you are interested in cooking. The stairs definitely was a shock when we arrived but we didn’t mind.
