Missing necessities and advertised features not usable
The kitchen was missing many basic items. The only drinking glasses available were 2 mugs and one boot shaped glass, so we had to go buy cups to use. There also weren’t any paper towels, sponges, or oven mitts. And there wasn’t even a FRYING PAN. These are such basic necessities that were missing that you can’t call this a full kitchen. This place is also infested with ants and anything food or drink set down for about 5 minutes would be covered in the bugs.
This listing advertises many features that aren’t available to use. Nest thermostat? Locked so you can’t adjust the temperature. Heated toilet seat? Doesn’t exist. Shuffleboard? There’s no sand for the table, rendering it useless. As an added bonus, there was broken glass in the gutter that one of my family members cut their finger on. The closets didn’t have hangers, there was only one extra roll of toilet paper in the entire place, and there weren’t enough bath towels for my small party of 3.
This biggest issue though, was that the ceiling in the master bedroom started leaking dramatically while we were there. Rendering that whole room and roof unusable at that point, with no offer of any sort of monetary kickback after we paid for the use of the hot tub on the roof.
One additional thing to note, all of the furniture is super low to the ground. This is something of personal preference, but my parents are older and they struggled getting off the couch in the living room to the point that they stopped using it.
