“Jason and Lee were very welcoming. We felt right at home. It is a very secluded location with every guest having privacy. There are only 7 rooms and each one has a shower with floor to ceiling glass so you feel like you are showering in the rain forest. They provide a great breakfast and also offer dinner. “We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

“Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. “Los bungalows están a un lado de la carretera sin ser visibles desde la misma y el acceso es un trozo estrecho, con lo que si llegáis por la noche id con precaución de no pasaros el cartel y haced un acto de fe porque aunque no lo parezca hay un acceso justo en ese punto. El bungalow estaba limpio y bien equipado pero con dos maletas se nos hizo complicado movernos dentro de la habitación, pero eso fue más problema nuestro. Solo cruzar la carretera tienes una playa preciosa.”
