Great house
Open floor plan, plenty of room, extra family/rec room would be great if you bring kids. Enjoyed the porch with lots of seating, the hot tub and the tranquility in the woods. Special treat to hike down to the pavilion on the water. Enjoyed our stay, plan to go back!

Mountain Get away
The house is located about 15 minutes out of Dahlonega but is less than 30 minutes to Helen and Cleveland. Lots of room for 7 adults and an infant. Could do a better job of cleaning. Beds were comfortable but one could use some stabilization.

Review
Property while nice needs lots of work. The decks need to be sanded and repainted. The indoor floors need to be stripped and revarnished. The carpet need to be replaced. The upstairs floors creek to the point they disturb the guests below. The internet is terrible, slow and only one or two at the most could connect. So while it’s nice and large it needs a lot of work. Definitely not worth the expensive price tag that we paid. We did complain about the internet but it had no effect on the internet.

Fun ladies getaway
We all experienced a great time! The property was perfect for us and is just as described on the website. It is a bit more removed from town than we expected…it took a little longer to drive into Dahlonega and around to vineyards than we figured but it was not a problem. We found “Heart of the Wind Country” a warm and comfy home and property.

Beautiful Home in Dahlonega!
Great house, right on the river. Clean, well stocked, comfortable bed upstairs, and hangout space. The other beds could use an upgrade. Great for our family during a Thanksgiving weekend. Loved the fire pit (though we didn't get to use, but it looks awesome) and hot tub during the cold winter evenings. Communication with the property manager was quick and always seamless. Can’t recommend enough! Will return!!

Great place to stay.
This was a great place for my family to stay while we were in the area. It has all the conveniences of home and more. The jacuzzi, grill, and fire pit, were great additions. Beautiful sunrises can be seen from the deck.

The property was perfect for our group this weekend. It fit all of us comfortably and we really enjoyed the location. Management was great and quick to respond to any questions I had. The only unfortunate downside was that the hot tub was out of order during our stay. Overall we were very happy with the house and our stay

Nice location
The house is nice. It is an older property which needs a little TLC on the back deck and main bathroom. We had a few items that were missing or should have been more thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi wasn’t working and the deck furniture was broken. The property management was as responsive as possible but couldn’t fix the items that were reported due to a very busy Fall weekend. The location was perfect for going back and forth to our son’s wedding venue which we appreciated since we had our elderly parents with us. Overall good time with our family! Thank you!

Beautiful location!
The location was beautiful and the home was large and easily accommodated our family for a wedding we were attending. We enjoyed the hot tub and the rental company was very quick to come and spray for wasps on the back patio. Overall we had a lovely stay but would have loved to see a more updated home. The beds seemed old and were not very comfortable and the corners of the carpets were grimy and dirty.
