Amazing location for a family getaway!
We had four generations of family meet in Cuba for a Missouri staycation. It was perfection! The house was amazing and accommodated everyone. The lake was fun for the little one to walk around and see the fish. And, the pool was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Peaceful and Beautiful
The pictures of the property and house are accurate. It is well cared for and offers comfortable sleeping and relaxing. The kitchens are easy to work in and well stocked with supplies for guest use. The deck is amazing, comfortable seating and beautiful view. Pool is a great hangout spot. The pool house bathroom is so handy. Lake is clear enough to see the smaller fish at the banks and out by the dock we got to see some huge catfish! Close enough to town for quick runs when needed. The hosts are easy to get a hold of and their check in/out process was the easiest I've experience so far.

Great stay!
This property will exceed your expectations! Everything is clean, stocked and well maintained. Plenty of comfortable seating inside, on deck, poolside, and lakeside for our large group. The owner is continually upgrading furnishings and beds. Mace grocery, Cuba Deli, Cuba Coffee, and Walmart are close by. Route 66, Meramac caverns, laser tag and go cart rides are within 30 minutes. Owner responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Can’t wait to return.

PARADISE PROPERTY
Pictures do not do this slice of heaven justice. Located in Mid-Missouri This is a hidden gem for sure. Perfectly located off the highway a few miles in a valley sits this amazing huge 4 bedroom oasis with a gorgeous lake, outstanding pool and lounging area. As well as a delightful patio with breathtaking views of the lake and sunsets. absolutely perfect for 8 of us to spend quality time together for a little summer getaway. Didnt even use the huge finished basement. The house is huge! Richard the owner was wonderful to deal with and we cant wait to stay again. Thank you Richard for opening your home to share the beautiful property with others.

Perfect kick-off to Summer
This house had everything we could’ve wanted or needed. It was more than big enough for our 5 adults & 2 children, and kept everyone entertained with fishing, swimming, Sonos, games/puzzles and plenty of yard space for running around (or playing several of the yard games we found in the basement). The kitchen had several sets of dishes, some spices, a lot of various utensils, and even some appliances (crockpot, coffee pot, & air fryer). The beds were super comfortable, and the zoned HVAC system kept us all happy. Even though it rained, we spent an entire evening on the covered porch around the gas firepit roasting s’mores, catching up, & playing the ring game. The pool was great (the poolside bathroom is a definite perk for kids), as was the hot tub. We loved having a fire down by the lake – where we spent a lot of time, reeling in a lot of fish! There are TVs in all the bedrooms which was great for downtime/bedtime. The host was very responsive and takes great care of his home. We hope to return again next year!

Perfect in Every Way
I can’t say enough about this property and the memories that were made. From a high school graduation, cousins bonding, fishing with great grandpa and so many other memories I can’t say enough. The house and property are beautiful and are exactly as described. The host was responsive and accommodating and there are instructions throughout the house that make it easy to navigate. We would certainly stay here again!

The house was perfect for 2 families needing a place to stay from out of state. It had plenty of amenities for a warm and comfortable stay and would only be even better in the summer w/ the lake and in-ground swimming pool. The owner was super communicative and responsive.

Great family time
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! We got a lot of use out of the great pool and hot tub, and fishing was very fun for all ages (Papa got a catfish and the 6 year old became very independent with bluegill and bass!). The house was spacious and we appreciated having a second refrigerator. I like to be prepared when we stay in a rental house, so I appreciate detailed reviews. I brought laundry soap, which was good because each guest gets one towel/washcloth/hand towel, so we needed to do laundry a couple times and there were only two pods. I had brought bug spray, which was lucky because the grass to get out to the pond was extremely high and we had a couple ticks. It was cut toward the end of our stay, though. The owner was responsive and easy to reach. He mentioned that there was a mix up with our group coming the same day someone left, which could be why there were a couple areas that hadn’t been completely cleaned (sticky kitchen floor and toothpaste in sink and dumpster already full) but sheets, towels, tubs and counters were clean. Like most rentals, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen, so bring gallon bags for your snacks, etc. I would definitely rent this property again!

Something for everyone
Our large group was aged 1 year to 60ish and there is something for everyone at this home. The inground pool is a great size and gated for safety. The hot tub is nearby. The lake provides hours of fishing and swimming fun. The large deck provides a comfortable vantage point to watch over your brood. Indoors has comfortable furniture with plenty of seating and enough space that you can find your own quiet area to enjoy one of the many books available. Two stocked kitchens provide enough refrigerator space for large groups. The home is well maintained and all beds are comfortable. The grocery store, Walmart, and Master Donuts are less than ten minutes away. Onondaga cave is about 14 miles away and the tour was great. We’ll be back next year as we’ve left some things undone. We need to visit the Second Largest Rocking Chair in the US, and have chicken from the East Office Bar & Grill. A great place to make memories!

Wonderful property with beautiful pool and lake- wonderful porch and area by lake to see the sunset. Grandkids loved the pool and plenty of outside space to play outside. Beautiful house with large kitchen upstairs and downstairs. Made some great memories!

Perfect for quality family time!
Wow this place is amazing! Plenty of room to spread out, beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked, extra kitchen in the basement was so handy! Close to town for a quick dinner or to get more fishing gear ;) Never a bored minute with the lake activities and the pool - we will for sure be back!!

The best, hands down.
This place checks all the boxes. It’s beautiful, inside and out with plenty to do on site, from the pool, hot tub, lakes and trails. Host is nice and easy to get in touch with. Checking in and out was easy. We had lots of fun catching (and releasing) several kinds of fish, swimming in the large pool, hanging out on the huge and peaceful deck (with some type of metal ring and hook game that I could not master haha, it was fun to try though). One thing that was just so nice and really surprised me, was the bird houses, my daughter and I very much enjoyed watching and listening to the birds in the morning, over coffee and OJ. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals, and this one is easily the best, most perfect fit for our family. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back.

Relaxing getaway
We wanted a private location with a pool and beautiful scenery. This little paradise was perfect. Rich is quick to respond to any questions and a gracious host. We enjoyed sitting by the lake and on the amazing deck. The pool area has all the amenities you’d need including a covered area with fan. The house was clean. The beds were comfy and the showers had good pressure. The grill was nice and a grocery store nearby. Also several places to choose from to pick up dinner or eat out. The grounds are well maintained. We miss the view already. Listening & watching the fountain was so relaxing. The lake water is beautiful. It would be a perfect place for a friends gathering with the lower level bar area and kitchen. The hot tub and two fire pits would be so much fun in the fall. Highly recommend for a relaxing staycation!!!!

Awesome house, great location
Rented this house for a gathering of friends. Had a really excellent time. Lots to do onsite (swim, hike, hot tub, fire pit) and only 20 minutes from major outfitters for floating. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay
We just got back from our stay and it was wonderful. The house and property are beautiful and have all of the amenities you will need. This property is great for families or couples. We would have no problem returning here for another stay. Really enjoyed the retro Atari games.

Weekend to Remember~!
Me and my group of 30 Something friends had a FANTASTIC stay at this relaxing home! Check-In was easy, the beds were comfy, and the hot tub and pool were perfect. Upon pulling into the driveway we were all stunned by how BEAUTIFUL the scenery was. The pictures of the home truly don't do it justice. The views and the way sun comes in through the day is truly an experience to be had. We had so much fun enjoying the view from the porch and eating and drinking together listening to the fountain. The second kitchen downstairs was a game changer! We were able to prep food for everyone easily and keep all our drinks cold for the pool. Rich was responsive and kind at all times. I hope we have time to come back in the future and enjoy it all again!
