Lovely location but could be cleaner
This property is in an ideal location and the views from the front are lovely. It is also very tastefully decorated with the blue colour and various seaside themed knickknacks throughout, and all the modern appliances worked well. We did have a good stay in Cromer overall.Unfortunately, though, the house was really quite dirty in places. On our first evening we discovered a clothes moth infestation in the old cushions on the beds, and other moths around the house. The agency got pest control out to spray the whole house and we got a partial refund and apology which was appreciated, but it wasn’t a pleasant start to the holiday. In such an old property it would be sensible to keep anti-moth products there all the time should they be needed again.We felt that the property is really quite dirty and would benefit from a very deep clean. The chairs in the living room were very grubby, and the wooden floors very dusty. Both showers looked in need of a deep clean. The toilet seat in the top floor shower room was broken (which we reported). Both the bathroom and shower room could do with renovation.Something else people considering booking should bear in mind is the stairs in this property are very steep and not carpeted, and we did find them a bit difficult. They wouldn’t be safe for very young children or the elderly.
