This property is exactly as advertised. It was really interesting. Staying in a property while visiting the Normandy Beach area that had been occupied by Germans for two years prior to the invasion made the experience special. For the price it’s a really good deal. When we were there, the temperatures were mild, but I did not notice air conditioning or heat for this very old building. I would inquire before staying there in the summer or winter months. Internet was also intermittent or nonexistent in some of the rooms as we saw one guest sitting in hallway to use their computer. The breakfast while good, largely consisted of local bread cheese, and fruit. While this is not a modern hotel, for us, it was a pleasurable experience overall.
