“The bedrooms were a generous size. With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay.”

“This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!”

“A brilliant experience for a Birthday weekend, a home from home without teenagers. We were very well looked after from arrival, above and beyond. The accommodation was quiet, cosy but with lots of space to use. A perfect getaway. We will definitely book in again soon. Ian & Trudi ”

“Caravan was comfortable and was OK for the couple of nights we stayed However some half used items of food had been left in the fridge and the furnishings were a little worn. Caravan and bed were creaky although this was mainly down to the high winds the weekend we were there.”

The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age.”
