The attention to detail was outstanding: an abundance of plush towels, super soft bedding and blankets, comfortable mattresses, fully equipped kitchenware, and all soaps, shampoos, etc. one could require. It was far better than the infamous “starter kit” of essentials that most rentals offer. Dunkin’ coffee was even provided! There were tv’s in the master, one bedroom, and living room. The master bedroom had a sizable closet. The home was clean, nicely set-up, and smelled pleasant. The porch was lovely and the private dock was a lot of fun to fish off of. The beach only a mile away, with free parking. The home is within eyesight of the pool and tennis courts, which sadly was taken up with pickle-ballers a lot of the time (one of the reasons we booked here was for the tennis).
However, the mobile home is surely not young and we had some trouble with things like the back glass sliding door to the point of it falling completely out of the track and the entire glass door onto our child. The closet doors also came unhinged and off track from their first opening. Restroom towel racks or hooks had fallen off the walls.
No fault to the owner, the HOA of this community is brutally strict, making for some unpleasantries. Also, while close proximity of the pool and community entrance should have been wonderful, their gates at both places beeped incredibly loud and frequently that it became impossible to ignore, even audible from *inside* the mobile home. Overall a great trip!
