“Loved staying at Spinneys, got to partake in the cedar sauna and staff was accommodating to an early check in. Next morning we were able to wake up and watch seals play in the water right out front, along with a beautiful sunrise. Will be back!”

“This cute little carriage house was built into the passageway behind the main house and the barn. It comfortably fit our party of 3 adults with a nice size kitchen, a single bathroom, and spacious seating areas both inside and out. Our flight was delayed, and when we arrived, there was yogurt and fruit in the fridge waiting for us. There is a stand selling ice cream, burgers, and lobster rolls within walking distance, and the Cape Elizabeth beach is a short drive away. Lovely stay!”

“After the reservation was confirmed, the host canceled on us just three days before the trip — then refused to refund us until VRBO customer service stepped in. Avoid this property!”

“Nice, clean place. Very good kitchen and cookware. Washer and dryer were great. The only negative for us were the two futon couches - not very substantial and very uncomfortable to sit on.”

“The Globe House was a wonderful Plato spend a couple of days while exploring Portland. The house itself was immaculate and well appointed, with extra touches that put it a step above: the fresh scent from a diffuser welcomed us, a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us in the refrigerator, and luxe amenities like L’Occitane moisturizer were provided.
