We spent a four-day long weekend. The rental is only five minutes drive to "Old Town" Main street where all the bars and restaurants are. We recommend Colt Grill for BBQ meats.
Far enough away from Main street to be peaceful and quiet, tucked behind a small residential area, between a cemetery and small creek.
The town of Cottonwood is small, but has all the major chains like Fry's and Safeway for groceries, Home Depot, Starbucks, KFC, etc.
This was a great home base, as we took day trips to visit Jerome, Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff and Williams. Jerome was only about 15 minutes drive, and Sedona about 35 minutes drive.
The leaves on some trees were various shades of gold, red, and orange. Winding roads through the forests and open plains were delightful to drive around.
Well-stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, and flatware you might need. Gas stove, electric coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave oven. There is a nice kitchen table, ideal for our family of four to have meals or play cards.
The TV had streaming, and we were able to log into our Netflix, Amazon Prime, Max, Hulu, Peacock, and Disney+ accounts. The Wi-Fi was easy enough to use.
There were two bedrooms, we had four people, so two in each worked out nicely. No need to open up the sofa bed in the living room.
The rental is half of a duplex, with shared laundry facilities. Our family was only there four days, so had no need to use the waster and dryer available.
