“The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“This is a very nice place, comfortable and cosy. Big rooms with good equipment and comfortable beds. Extremely friendly staff. It's located in a very centric location, 5 min from the train station and the city centre and all bus stops. It's in the main street of "weekend night life" (if you like to go party, the have discounts for a nightclub), so it may be a bit noisy during weekends... but the rest of the week is very quiet. For a B&B (not hotel) is probably the best I have been.”

“ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”

“Clean room, very friendly staff, just 5 minutes walking distance to Central Station, 15 to the Castle. Their motto “Affordable comfort for everyone” suits well. Will definitely consider this hotel when going to Norwich again.”

“The staff were super friendly and very efficient. The room was clean, warm, quiet and very comfortable. The pub & restaurant have an amazing wine selection, a superb selection of excellent beers from Lacons and fabulous food. All in all, hospitality how you would want it and food how you would dream about it! Fabulous. ”

“Arrived relatively later on in the day, and reception was closed, but it was not an issue as I picked up my key from the security office, which is not far from the hotel at all, and they were very helpful and quick to give me the room key and swipe card for the building. Parking was also very easy as you just park in the main UEA car park then use the terminal next to the lift to validate your registration for free parking. Room was immaculate and had great amenities, full tea and coffee...
