“Our family of 15 had everything they could wish for. With crabbing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, the tree house and pickleball contests... we all had plenty to do for the full week we stayed. “Great location, very cozy and comfortable little spot near the USNA. Excellent communication, very clean, and easy check in process. The road is a bit noisy at night so plan for white noise options. The owner provides ear plugs for super light sleepers- but we slept fine with white noise on our iPhones. Great access to Uber/Lyft so if you can avoid bringing a vehicle - it makes life easier. We would definitely stay here again! ”

“We had a pleasant stay with my family in MD, very homely and spacious, we had an incidence with the bathroom door locking behind my wife, but the owner responded promptly and helped open the door. Only negative thing is house is next to a main highway, so there was so much noise with the cars passing by day and night. Otherwise, it was clean and owner hospitable.”

“The Oaks is in an absolutely perfect location and checks all the boxes a large family needs for a stay. We booked it for our wedding at the AYC for close family and it was far superior to booking 6 hotel rooms where everyone would have been locked in their own rooms. They hung out and spent a great time together on the main level. It was nice to be at a historic home with all the fun quirks. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! ”

“Home is well-loved and clean. Kitchen is updated with dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove. Microwave is available in armoire. Bathroom has washing machine, walk-in shower, great lighting, and comfy towels.Stairway is typical of an older home with slender passage, however sturdy and secure with metal railings.Stayed in the summer, so A/C window units were a welcomed relief. Back yard/porch was serene and quiet.Street parking was easy to find. I thought the Amtrak train would have bothered me...
