“Great house and great location ”

“This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!”

“The location alone is a wonderful reason to rent this place - so close to Beal’s, we ate there twice, and a lovely neighborhood for walking, with town just steps away. But on top of that, it was a good and comfortable home base for exploring the area. We had all we needed, and loved that we could stay with our dog. ”

The house itself was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably.The host was very responsive and easy to contact, which we appreciated.There were a couple of drawbacks worth noting: we had some trouble with fruit flies during our stay, likely due to the season, and the living room...

“We were a large group of extended family and everyone was happy with the house. The game/TV room was a great bonus for the teenagers, during our down time. We enjoyed the firepit and having a kitchen to make meals. ”
