“Charming, period house in the center of Beaufort, short interesting walks to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, I really enjoyed, all freshly cooked. One tip, our room at night was really noisy, we assumed it was the air conditioning, after a few hours of sleeplessness, I tried to reset the air con, but that was not the problem, it was the humidifier. Turned it off and had a good nights sleep in my beautiful now peaceful...

“Small but perfect for a launching pad for exploring the city. Room was clean, breakfast and other amenities were great, plunge pool and bikes were awesome, the property manager was kind and nice to talk to, and the area the building was in was perfect for exploring historic Charleston.”

“Took a chance as we always stay at the Bennett or Charleston place but this was a 3 day trip. We couldn’t be any happier with our choice. It’s newly redone property. “We had never stayed in this neighborhood before and I’m so glad we did! It was so beautiful and easy walk to some of the best restaurants (Chez Nous, Southbound, Co-op for lunch). Hands down my favorite part was having access to bikes. Being able to ride around a large area on our own was the best on a beautiful, sunny day! The room (and common area) was beautiful and we loved the lower level speakeasy suite. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything was in excellent shape. Only problem we had was that we never received our check-in email with access codes and there is no one on the premises to help. I was able to call the VRBO number and get the email re-sent thankfully which allowed us to get into the unit.”

“Our room was spacious & beautifully appointed. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the porch nestled into the couches people watching & enjoying the breeze. The house has been lovingly remodeled but kept all that charm. The "lobby" area is stocked with everything you could need & delicious mint chocolate squares! We were able to walk everywhere & thoroughly enjoyed all the routes we took exploring the city. We will definitely be back.”

“Very cute place and loved how close we were to King Street. The breakfast sandwiches were amazing. The bagels alone were just fantastic. I loved that we had breakfast covered every morning and it was enjoyable. Only downside is our room didn’t come with towels but we were able to get towels pretty easily.”
