“We stayed here for a short getaway, chose this location for ease of going to State Park and Ft.Fisher, etc. Host was responsive when we had trouble heating the cottage, unusual cold snap during our stay. Kitchen is great as is space.. Only comment: would prefer a few less decorative items so hooks,surfaces could be used for intended purpose. Would definitely stay here again!”

“We were in town a couple days for a wedding. The communication with Melissa was great, we had no issues accessing the property and it was setup perfect for our family of 3 littles ranging from 3-9. They loved the games and toys to play with. We didn’t have a lot of time to really enjoy the house but if we need to rent a home in OBX again we would definitely rent this one again. The house has every thing you would need for a fun beach trip. It was very clean and well appointed. ”

“The house is very clean and awesome and very well stocked! I loved the large open-floor plan and the two patios (one screened and one open) right on the waterfront! We spent 10 nights there and hated to leave! The owners are awesome and very easy to work with! I'd recommend this cozy cottage to all my friends who are traveling to New Bern! The sunsets and beautiful and the view is absolutely amazing!”
