Pretty property run by two lovely sisters from Toronto. Unfortunately, the property fails on some core missions. The "comfort double rooms" feature rather ascetic bedding and are not really set up for more than one person: the interior shutters and the bathroom door swing into the room making it very tight if not impossible to navigate at night. Also the cabins are poorly built for this climate; they are very hot and don't have any airflow or hot air ventilation. The overhead fans don't provide much relief on any setting, even at night when it cools off outside, as there are only windows on one side. Cabins are also buggy with gaps in the floors, and the fans prevent hanging a mosquito net. There is a small yoga deck, but it is only useable for about 1 hour in the morning as there is no shade of any kind. Oddly, there is no meditation space on site either. The "spa" allows access to massage therapy, but treatments are very expensive. The "bar" was never open at all and the "restaurant" had slow and limited service. Guests routinely went elsewhere for meals, coffee, snacks and drinks. Also noteworthy: this property is not easily accessible for those with physical limitations or vision loss. All in all, there is a lot of room for improvement and better options on the island.
