We dropped our son off at this 2nd year of college in Burlington, VT and decided to stay in this region for a few days on our way back to the Washington, DC area. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. As others have mentioned, the screened in porch was fantastic. We spent a lot of time out there reading, watching on the TV (we brought our own Roku, but the cabin has ones too you could log into your accounts). The owner gave us pre trip suggestions for where to pick up groceries on the way (Tuffs in the town of Day) and the wine/liquor store across the street. It may have been our fault not looking closely, but we were a little surprised by how far the reserved dock/lake spot was from the cabin. We did go down to the water several times during our short stay but opted to drive down and use the parking spot there and once there it is a beautiful dock area with a covered sitting area (the others around it were not covered so we liked that feature). We took a day trip to the town of Northville across the lake, it was a pretty drive and the town had a few cute stores and a great farm / grocery store with fantastic sandwiches. Overall the cabin was perfect for our needs and we would highly recommend you visit and enjoy it as well!
