The hosts check in on me via text to ensure that I had everything needed. There spot in the forest was like a trip back to a time of wizards, fairies and knight. ”

The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. “We stayed 2 nights while visiting Acadia. We wanted to be away from the craziness of Bar Harbor… this location satisfied this need. Check in and communication were great. We stayed in room 7. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Only minor issues that I would want others to consider is… 1) proximity to the highway is very close, which is apparent when I look back at the website pics. It wasn’t an issue for me, as I wear earplugs anyway, but I did hear a siren once, as it is that close....

“Loved the apartment! Location is great, walk everywhere. The included breakfast was very nice and loved just walking downstairs to one of the best in town. Things to note-central/convenience has a price-Main bedroom is on the Cottage St side with lots of action including bars with live bands. “The rental was outstanding. Clean, conveniently located, close to downtown Southwest Harbor restaurants and stores, but just a couple blocks down the street so it was nice and quiet. Great, convenient parking right behind the building.Helpful, fun information from the host, along with outstanding communication from the host Ed.We loved this place and would highly recommend it for anyone heading to the Acadia area or just looking for nice getaway.Thank you!”

“The property was very well kept. The room was just what my granddaughter and I needed. I tried to use the laundry service however every time I tried to use it the washers and dryer were full of hotel bedding and I didn’t think I should move things. I would recommend this place to anyone. ”
