“Frida's by the sea is a charming, comfortable cottage with a wrap-around verandah which is great spot to relax. All amenities were in place including an effective air-con system and modern appliances in a quirky, traditional setting. The location is surprisingly close to the dog-friendly beach via a lane and short stroll through the bush. Notes left by the host made us feel welcome and there were lots of basics (tea, coffee, milk etc.) in the kitchen so no need to go to the shops for anything...

“We had the loveliest restful time at Crowdy. Host Graham is also an excellent massage therapist and I recommend him for all types of massage. Quiet, reasonable price, old fashioned beach house style. We can’t wait to go back. Cafe across the road for coffee , beach patrolled on weekend, only 6 kms from Harrington. Stones Seafood on the way in , fresh and local. Best rest , blessed time. ”

“We stayed for one night at Tallowood on the way to pick up our new pup, jack russell terrier, Celeste! We had our Great Dane with us. To say that we enjoyed Tallowood would be a massive understatement! The place had everything we could ask for and more! The beach was literally across the road and dog friendly! We will be returning for sure!! Cannot recommend Tallowood highly enough!!”

“The property was clean, well equipped with LOTS of stuff provided to keep children and dogs entertained. The location is great, being central to both Diamond Beach and Black Head. The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Fantastic home and well worth the spend. We will be back!”
