“The Lakeside Boathouse was perfect for our needs. It is exceptionally clean, well-decorated, with comfortable beds! There were only two of us, and although the property is listed for up to six people, it would have been quite cosy with even four people unless the weather allowed sitting outside.As stated in the description, the house is not actually on the lake, and it's worth noting that the location is very quiet and quite a distance from shops and beaches.”

“The property was very clean and well presented and in a good location. the views from the balcony were beautiful. however the property is badly let down by the lack of things you would normally find in any holiday accommodation. “The house was great and in an amazing location. There were a few niggly things that could have made our stay more comfortable though. The circuit in the room downstairs kept switching off during the night so the fan kept turning off which made for a very uncomfortable stay for one of the families we were with. I messaged the house manager and he advised it was a known issue, they just didn’t know what was tripping the circuit. It would have been nice to have been told this before or offered...
