“Our family of 5 adults had such a pleasant stay at the Dairy Cottage. Michael and Sheila made sure all was well for us and offered suggestions and directions for our daily excursions. We all enjoyed returning to the quiet cottage and its beautiful surroundings after our full days of adventures. I recommend the Dairy Cottage to those who want a fantastic experience in Ireland.”

“This is our 3rd stay here. The setting is wonderful. You see the cows heading out to pasture every morning from the living room windows. Very peaceful and scenic. The house is immaculate and has everything you need four your stay. The owners are so nice and friendly and were always available for questions or suggestions. We highly recommend! ”

“Super, friendly host Joe met us and gave us an insight into the local area and lots of information. There was just the two of us but the property could easily accommodate seven people. “I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. “The house is very comfortable and well suited for a big group. The area is beautiful and perfect for holidays. The live music at the local pubs very fun. The service was excellent. We had a small problem with the hot water and was fixed in a few hours. ”

“We really enjoyed this cottage. It was exactly as listed. So cozy and felt like home. Our host was lively and we loved the town. We enjoyed several meals at Giltrap Pub. Mattresses are still the kind with springs which was not a great fit for our backs but the rooms and duvet covers were just great!! Nice shower and bathroom. Overall, I’d recommend this cottage to all. We were able to make several day trips East and South. Great location if your renting a car. Thanks a million.”

“Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. Beds basic and comfortable, price was great for family budget! Thanks Sean!”

“From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! “Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!”

“Aufenthalt war sehr schön, Pub und Restaurant in Terryglass ist super. Drymna war sehr hilfreich Einzig das man von der Anlage zum Hafen fast 2km laufen muss weil keine Tür vorhanden ist, obwohl Luftlinie keine 100m sind.”
