“Property was exactly as described. Lots to do inside and out these host have truly thought of everything a family could want to do. The house is well decorated and extremely comfortable, all the beds were very good, everyone had a great nights sleep. 5 star rating in our books hope to visit again soon.”

“Our group of four just stayed for a week in August and had an incredible time at this property! We found everything to be true to the listing if not better, and the stunning views from multiple directions made our stay even more memorable. We were able to explore a great deal of the surrounding areas thanks to the central location, with short hops to nearby Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, Chester, and of course Halifax and other great destinations. Highly recommended!”

“I thought the property was OK. A few things stood out in which I was a little confused with. One is if you post a hot tub on site ....show us the Hot tub. There was no hot tub. Next please clean the BBQ It was very dirty and needed bigtime cleaning. Also when you have a firepit please have wood available. I stayed at many VRBOS and everyone had plenty of wood. “Our family of 6 stayed here for a week. We used the house as both a place to relax and as a jumping off point to do other activities in Nova Scotia. We loved it here. We enjoyed numerous outings on Ponhook Lake in the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboard provided by the owner. The house is beautiful, clean and very well kept up. The location is stunning, with the beautiful Ponhook lake in a wilderness setting with endless opportunities for exploration. A perfect place to stay if you want to...
