Had everything we needed!
Quiet and serene. We have a larger family and this property met all of our needs. Plenty of beds, pillows, towels, and extra blankets. Loved that there were toys and games for the children. Great location, too! Quick access to the highway and close to USAFA.

Great location!
My daughter got married in Palmer Lake and this place was perfect for the bridal party to stay the night before so they could start getting ready early on wedding day. The newly weds then stayed a couple of nights, enjoying the views and being close to Colorado Springs for activities.

Beautiful unexpected hideaway
This place was perfect for our family. Not too big with a kitchenette for small meals. Cozy and secluded in the woods. The location was excellent. I will never stay in a hotel again. Hosts wee great!

Very clean and comfortable place. Beautiful quiet neighborhood near Palmer Lake. Loved sitting on back porch watching the deer. Very friendly host who provided a lot of local information. Would definitely stay again!

College sendoff
We were there to move our son in for freshman year. Property was clean, comfortable, well thought out and fully equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of amazing towels. Owner does live adjacent, but there was no intrusion on privacy. They were great about communication and very friendly. Only regret is that it was too warm to use the fireplace, I bet it will be very cozy on a crisp autumn evening.

No water for showers, cooking, or even teeth brushing
After five days of camping, my family was looking forward to good showers and comfortable beds. I inquired of the owner two days prior to arrival if there were laundry machines so we could enjoy some clean clothes. On arrival, we tried to shower, and found almost no water pressure. Having not gotten a response about laundry, I spent the evening at a laundromat (not how I wanted to spend my last night of vacation). At 10:30 at night, after the laundry was done and our shower attempts thwarted by no pressure, I got a message from the owner about a water main break. And also about laundry facilities. At that point, laundry options were useless to me, and everyone was already in bed. The next morning, we had no water for teeth brushing or had washing. A couple of bottles of water would have been really appreciated. Definitely not the end of vacation I was hoping for, and none of us were set up to make a good impression at the USAFA visit the following morning. Very disappointed in the communication and how this situation was handled.

I felt very safe at this property, I was traveling alone with my (2) teenagers. My daughter is very picky about places and she wants to come back and stay again! Very clean and comfortable. Loved the fireplace. It is close to many attractions. We will be back!

We were only here one day and we fully regret not staying longer. We will for sure come back to this location again and bring the kids next time it was very peaceful and being surrounded by nature was great. We got to see deer right outside the back door. 10/10
