“Very clean and comfortable room although describing it as luxury is maybe a step too far! Breakfast and indeed all the food was excellent and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It is a quiet location about a mile from the village so you probably need to drive. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Booked this for one of my employees who was working in the area. When he arrived he was shown to a room in the roofspace that had to duck all the time due to the amount the roof came into the room. Booked a room with a private bathroom but he was shown a bathroom along a public corridor, not exactly private! Then the bar was noisy until about 0130 when he was trying to sleep as he was up early in the morning. Needless to say he wasn't very happy!”

“We were made to feel welcome from the start to the end of our three night stay. Our bed was so comfortable, it was a welcome return after a busy day exploring Aberdeenshire. The ensuite facilities were very spacious. Room included small fridge, microwave, TV, electric blanket, armchairs and hospitality tray. Loved the drawing room with the open fire where we sat and played games. Breakfast was outstanding, the choices were amazing and set you up for the day. We didn't like saying goodbye,...

“Stayed here before so i like it enough to come back however found the room a bit cjilly and couldn't work out to get heating on. Next morning staff member showed me how so not a big issue. Its a really nice old building.”
