Hinckley Lake lies at the southwestern corner of the Adirondacks, and as such is less well-known than some of the lakes in the heart of the park. But the lake, and the Kuyahoora Resort, are beautiful and worth exploring - and serve as an excellent jumping-off point for exploration of the area.
The West Canada cottage is modern and well-appointed, with a very nice view over the lake. As part of the Kuyahoora Resort, the cottage has access to kayaks and SUP boards, as well as rental of pontoon boats. We deeply enjoyed our stay.
