“We had a lovely weekend at the Pheasant with friends. Our room was really nice, large enough with a massive bathroom (in the main hotel). The food was excellent, some really different items on the menu and breakfast was fresh and quickly delivered. The only reason i have not given 5 stars is they were understaffed. The staff were lovely but really busy. There was no one serving in the bar on the Sunday and tables were not cleaned. I felt sorry as the staff that were there worked really hard and...

“This home was perfect for our family get away! It was clean and well equipped for us to spend our days out exploring but able to come back and prepare dinner. There was pizza and ice cream available on site as well. So comfortable.”

“Keswick Reach was a lovely place to stay and very secluded... too secluded for us. Our car broke down on day 3 of a 5 day stay. We were left solely dependent on what little food we had, what the shop sold and what the restaurant served. We found the shop lacked items like bacon, sausages, bread, etc but had a lot of sweets and crisps. It is far from other shops so we expected more. My dad can't have cheese as it sets his heart out of rhythm, so he could only have garlic bread when it was pizza...

“Stayed for four nights, nice site very quiet and peaceful with a small bar restaurant and shop. The cabin was great very big and spacious and everything you’ll need for your stay. The small bar was good we didn’t eat there so can’t comment but the meals looked good. Was very busy on the Saturday couldn’t get a table but I’d rather see it busy than dead. Would definitely return ”
