“This was in a great location offering spectacular views of the lake and lift bridge. Very walkable area and safe. Spacious apartment and very tastefully decorated. We loved the special touches like snacks and water.”

“Bill and Pat have one of the best designed, cared for, and well stocked VRBO residences we have stayed in. All our other VRBO rentals are measured against our experience with them! As guests, we can’t ask for more! This trip was unfortunately shortened by the wildfire smoke that blanketed our state. An as Duluth slowly repairs the poor street conditions of the Lincoln Park neighborhood, we were dealing with detours and construction. ”

“This place was everything we expected and even better than the pictures represent. Everything was in great shape and very clean.The check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is close to everything in the canal area and just minutes to most other locations of interest in Duluth. ”

“It was so nice to drink coffee right by Lake Superior. The house and location were wonderful. We would come back. ”

“We really enjoyed our 1 night stay there. The host was very friendly and responsive.I took off a star for accuracy of listing because it did not mention that it was an upstairs apartment. It is not handicapped accessible.I took off a star for check in process because the building did not have An easily visible address. We must have circled it a few times before getting out and look around for the address.But that did not stop us from enjoying the place!! Worth the stay!!”

“If I could give 10 stars for cleanliness I would. Also, 10 stars for communications with owner. This place is lovely with modern decor and clean lines throughout. Comfy bed. Very well appointed bathroom and kitchen. I would stay here again and highly recommend it. ”

“My wife and I chose to visit the North Shore of Lake Superior for our anniversary. We found this location to be convenient for us and only about 15 minutes from Duluth, in a nice quiet neighborhood with nice seclusion. We stayed in the lower level, which was convenient because we didn't have to negotiate any stairs. The dehumidifier worked well. The upstairs guests were quiet and respectful. The bed was comfortable and the space was perfect for 2 people.”

“Cozy little 1 bedroom. Next to an awesome woodworker’s gallery and an easy Uber to the canal area and even easier Uber to the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Perfect for our weekend away from the kids!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this Hermantown house . We stayed on 2nd floor, and everything was clean and comfortable. I like the neighborhood; it was nice to walk in the morning and evening with some birds and flowers. There was a pond nearby with a pair of trumpeter swans and their cygnets. We used the kitchen every day and it had what we needed to make our meals. Thank you!”

“This was perfect for us, visiting grandparents for Christmas. Fantastic location for anything you want to do in Duluth, and perfect size for our family of 4! (And can see it working teally well for 6, with pull out bed). Clean and comfortable, will stay here again!”

“This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property.”
