Owner tried to negotiate a discount for me to give a Good Review!
The location was great, but the property was not clean, and neighbors could see into the bathrooms and bedroom with no window coverings. We spent the first hour or so cleaning. The owner had mentioned that the previous guest had a party and had caused some damage and that the Wi-Fi was out. The toilet seat in the master bath did not fit and was broken, one mattress was old and not on a bed frame (the person that was to stay in that room left and paid to stay somewhere else). The comforters on the twin beds were not clean (we had to wash them). The floors were not cleaned so we swept them. The curtains on sliding doors to go to the patio were filthy. I have pictures to support all of this, but I don't see where they can be uploaded here. I shared my concerns and disappointment with the owner and requested a partial credit especially since it was so bad that some left. He told me he would give me a 50% discount on my next visit if I didn't leave a bad review. That was not acceptable I just wanted a partial credit for this stay because I would not go back. To make matters worse the owner made a fraudulent insurance claim for a new canoe! We never touched the canoe we brought our own bass tracker boat!
