Located near the southern end of Cle Elum Lake, the cabin is ideally located for hiking in the Cle Elum area. With its floor-to-ceiling windows, it feels bright and airy. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfy. One thing to know is that the main floor and one of the bedrooms had air conditioning; the two upstairs bedrooms did not. We stayed on a warm weekend in June, and with the window open it was fine.
There is a deck outside the back door with adirondack chairs where you can have your morning coffee and see the occasional deer wander through the yard. We were very appreciative that there was plenty of dry wood under a shelter for the fire pit. The fire pit is a modern one that effectively funnels smoke straight up, so it was nice to sit around in the evening.
We're very happy we stayed here and would be happy to stay here again.
