“We absolutely loved staying here. The location is amazing - a short walk to both the beach and into town. And the place itself is absolutely lovely. Beautiful and peaceful area and the cabin has all the amenities you would need and is incredibly comfortable, clean, and cozy. The hot tub was clean and prepped for us. John was super friendly and accommodating and check in was well communicated. Absolutely 10/10 and we hope to stay again - thanks for having us! ”

“Capitan Joel and Luc were awesome hosts. My husband took a trip out to get some halibut and had an amazing time. Caught a 42lb halibut to take home. The houseboat is clean and comfortable, we love the window to the sea. Such a fun experience. Highly recommend Strawberry Island for your next vacation.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Salal Cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and in the midst of beautifully peaceful and private surroundings. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub on the deck was a major plus, and communication from the host (Scott) was excellent. ”

“The cabin was a bit lacking in areas to put clothing (especially the bedroom and bathroom), no coffee table by the couch, check-in 5 pm and check-out 10 am a bit stingy and inconvenient, could have been more generous, but the place is very quiet, beautiful view, and the common outdoor area with firepit was fantastic. ”

“Es ist nicht viel Platz, aber es ist alles sehr sauber und da, was man so braucht. :o)) Der Sitzplatz oben mit Blick ins Grün ist super - auch bei Nieselregen ;o). Man kann sehr schön direkt von dort los laufen und Ucluelet erkunden. Offizielle Wanderwege liegen in kurzer Auto Entfernung. Ein kleiner Zugang zum Wasser ist unterhalb des Haupthauses.”

“We had a great time; the sunset was amazing; it really is on an island!; we met nice other guests; it is a one room holiday flat; we stayed there with five persons; we used the existing gas barbecue and made some burgers; you need coffee powder!! In brief everything you would like to eat and drink you need to bring with you ; there was no direct Wifi (the neighbour kindly provided his access) ”
