“Adorable cabin and our host Kasia was wonderful. The only reason I didn’t give full 5 stars was because the first night the smoke alarms starting intermittently beeping. It stopped for a day then started again. My husband was able to change the battery. These batteries should at least be changed once a year. For a VRBO probably every 6 months. “The property is beautiful and so peaceful! Of all the vacation homes our family has stayed in, this kitchen was by far the best equipped. The host did a great job of spraying for mosquitoes. No problem with them at all if we stayed on the property. Once we ventured off for a walk or bike ride, a different story for sure. “The house and surrounding woods were great.There is a nice trail right by the house. You cannot access the lake without a 3 mile drive or a 2+ mile walk. There is a very steep stairway that leads to a pier half a mile away. This is not safe for kids. Signage says you cannot fish on the pier or near the beach. Shore fishing is nearly impossible. This place is ideal for hiking and has great trails for recreational atv, dirt bikes, etc. but if you are wanting to swim or fish look else where. You...
