“Beautiful, private, quiet escape. Loved being able to just turn up and go to cottage with everything ready.”

“Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper.”

“I would come back and stay here in a heartbeat! Amazing views, comfy bed and perfect shower pressure. Located just outside of Maleny so plenty to see and do around the area. The hosts were very lovely when we met them on check in. Cockatiel cottage had the most amazing view and you cannot see the other cottages so very private. Such a delight!”

“What a find! The cabin had everything you need, a beautiful outlook, Kenilworth is a short drive away for supplies and Booloumba Creek is just down the road for hiking and exploring. Highly recommend. ”

“The cottage is situated close to the Obi Obi Creek and has beautiful views to a lush tropical garden and the creek. Is is in any case right next to the pretty busy main road. The cottage is nicely decorated, even though refurbishment was somewhat cheaply done and without too much (technical) expertise. So nice to look at but with some flaws here and there, including a slight smell of mold, a dishwasher that does not work well, a small bathroom, a difficult exit to enter the main street by car,...

“Was the best view I have ever seen of the mountains...”

“Great for a short break, although the outdoor balcony was in serious need of cleaning and cob web removal. The hammock was very mouldy but was lovely to sit in. Unfortunately our cottage was on the road side and the traffic was very noticeable. I was craving an escape from Sydney to hear the birds, but the traffic was overpowering them 😔 I think the cottages on the opposite side of the property overlooking the valley would be much nicer. I know it’s a case of ‘you get what you pay for’ and this...

“We had a great experience and very attentive staff helping us out with an unfortunate event. Their help was without question and we could get on with our day without delay. The only thing we missed was WiFI [admittedly we did not ask if it was available], however got over that quickly and enjoyed the well stocked fire place and videos .... The fire place was a great warmer on the cold windy two mornings we were there over our 3 day stay. ”

“We liked that it was quiet, and that we had a balcony overlooking the lake, and it was a short easy walk to the hospital. We didn't like coming back to no lights working - tripped circuit but a phone call helped us locate the switchboard; nor did we like the faulty smoke detector going off at 11.30pm.”
