“We liked that it was quiet, and that we had a balcony overlooking the lake, and it was a short easy walk to the hospital. We didn't like coming back to no lights working - tripped circuit but a phone call helped us locate the switchboard; nor did we like the faulty smoke detector going off at 11.30pm.”

“Excellent location and lovely views over the beach and ocean. One evening we had a party going on above us and that was very noisy, the rest of our stay was quiet. We would stay there again it was very nice”

“The million dollar view and the ideal location in town keep us coming back. The accommodation is looking tired and in need of a refresh. All appliances were in good working order. Lots of hot water. The kitchen lacked a pot large enough to cook pasta for two. Instructions for using the tv remotes would be appreciated. Would also appreciate more hangers. ”

“Great location, quite and secure. All appliances were great and all operational. Only real negative is that there was dust on shelves and covered both fans. Instructions on arrival were not reallly precise but I would recommend add to call the after hours number upon arrival would make it easier. ”

“Overall I had a pretty great time. Positives: very comfy bed, aircon worked well, very close to the beach with nice views. Negatives: pool was not heated, carpark is very tight. There was also a lot of dust around the hotel. ”

“Overall, it was good, bit tired looking. Kitchen wasn't brilliant, unfortunately no dishwasher and not well stocked. It was only a 3 night stay, so didn't really impact us, but I wouldn't chose here for a longer stay.”

“2nd time at the Hedges, you can’t beat it, apartments have everything you could need, and the location is perfect. Cross the road one way and you’re at the shopping centre, cross the street the other way and you’re a 2min walk from the beach! This with friendly communication and easy instructions for everything and it makes for a stress free break!! ”
