Birthday treat
Lovely stay. Property just as described. Mark went above and beyond. He was so helpful. Directed us to the nearest supermarket and pub. Lovely area. The jacuzzi was so relaxing after a hike around castle combe. We would definitely return. Can't fault our stay at all.

Quiet countryside weekend
The property was well kept with everything being simple and easy to use. It had everything we could have possibly required, from the bathroom to a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a washing machine and line if required for longer stays. The whole place was very comfortable and in a very beautiful and convenient location with places such as Castle Combe, Bath and Longleat not far away if you wish to go out for the day. Mark and Susan were very accommodating and willing to help if we had any queries during our stay. Absolutely fab place, I recommend and we would stay again!

Great location, great retreat, great hosts
Mark and Sue were wonderful, super helpful and had great knowledge of the area as well as great suggestions for places to see and go to. The location was perfect for tripping around and right in the middle of the Cotswalds. The retreat had everything that we needed, it was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed being able to sit on a lounge and not just be in a room like a hotel. Having a full little kitchen as well as a washing machine was awesome to allow us to do some washing and even have a meal or 2 at home instead of eating out all the time, having a parking space right at the door was excellent since we had large bags as we are away for 8 weeks, We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends and family if travelling to the area, Cheers from Australia

We had a great stay, loved the bed it was very comfortable and the property was lovely and clean. Host was welcoming, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and sky tv was a bonus.

Perfect stay
Our stay at this lovely property was perfect! From the location, to the owner Mark, who greeted us on arrival. The whole thing was great! We had a fantastic time in bath for the day and a couple of days around the Cotswold sight seeing. Really was just perfect!

Quiet and peaceful
Had a lovely weekend at the property which was clean and comfortable, owner was very kind and thoughtful gave us a few tips on where to visit in the area (which we did) left milk tea and coffee in case we had forgotten anything which is a big help if you’ve travelled late ,property was kept warm and comfortable all the time we were there cannot fault this property in any way or Mark the owner ,would and will recommend this to friends and family without hesitation. Cotswold Retreat
Such a clean property and ideal for couples who wish for a romantic getaway. Beautiful tranquil surroundings. There is plenty to explore or just have a lazy day in and relax in the jacuzzi. Mark and Sue are the perfect hosts, Mark is a true gent and very attentive and informative, gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. He would always be available if we needed anything. So thankyou Mark and Sue. We will visit again in the near future and we will recommend this property to all friends and family. I would give more than 5 stars if i could

A little break away
Mark was so very welcoming. The place was so clean, not a spot of dirt anywhere. A lovely little welcome note and some lovely sweets. Would definitely recommend. All the big chain hotels, don't have anything on this property. It's just lovely. The area is so quiet and peaceful. And Mark even gave us some tips on here to go and where to eat. Which have to was also fantastic. I cant put into words so much Mark and Sue must put into this property, inside and out. I definitely intend to go back. I could not find 1 bad point at all.

Relaxing stay
We had a lovely relaxing few days at the retreat. The property had everything we needed and we would definitely go back again. It was just what we needed after a very stressful couple of years. Mark and Sue were the perfect hosts, keeping in touch with us before, during and after our visit and we even had a lovely home made cake on arrival. It was very much appreciated.

Clean, comfortable and quiet
Communication before our stay was spot on with Mark recommending things to do and places to eat. On arrival we had time to settle in before Mark popped round to talk us through health and safety and how everything works. Mark is very friendly and chatty however we were not disturbed at all during our stay and the property is very private. The property was clean, fresh, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was lovely and warm too! We went into Bath Spa on the train from Chippenham which was easy and a nice change from driving. The homemade lemon drizzle was wonderful!

A fantastic place to stay in the Cotswolds
We had a lovely weekend away staying at the Cotswolds Retreat which has everything you need and is incredibly well presented and clean. It’s location is great with short drives to Castle Combe and Lacock which were a fantastic day out with their unique shops and walks through the villages. We also visited Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold which were also great to explore and another brilliant day out. Mark is an incredibly welcoming host and ensured our stay was as enjoyable as possible! The cake left for us on arrival was delicious as well, thanks again for a wonderful stay!

What wonderful accommodation 😊Mark and Sue went above and beyond ,nothing was too much😊 homemade cake was yummy and my husband was given a gift and card for his birthday (60th), such lovely thoughtful touches 😊the house was immaculate and cosy and Hullavington is such a lovely friendly place. We don't drive but still managed to get out and explore using the local bus service which was fab👍 we will book again to explore some more😊thank you Sue and Mark

Weekend stay for valentines
A brilliant place hosted by the loveliest people. Mark ensured we had all information prior to arriving even went out of his way to provide us with a list of things to do. He gave us a visit on arrival showing us what we needed to know I think we spent more time chatting. Sue's mum made the best cake we enjoyed after a 4hour drive and the facilities was faultless beautiful jacuzzi bath with little perks to set the scenes. Thank you guys so much x
