We had a great time. Duck Harbor at Water's edge is a spacious house, clean, great views, and with easy access to the water and downtown. I would definitely come back to stay again. I'd have no issue with recommending it to others.
Some items for improvement/suggestions:
(1) We found dirty dishes, plates, bowls, and cooking implements, as soon as we grabbed them. I'd recommend that your cleaning staff wash (in the dishwasher) plates, bowls, or have your last tenant leave things in the dish washer for the cleaning staff to put away.
(2) As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by flies. Their numbers grew as the days went on. I would expect the cleaning crew should have noticed them(?).
(3) The house could use a few more hooks in order to hang jackets, etc
(4) Maybe put in a small dish drain so that pots and pans can dry?
(5) While communication is key, I'd recommend consolidating the email and texting communication from the management company. I get enough texts and emails from work and don't need more when I'm on vacation.
(6) Lastly, an 11am checkout would be great. We brought so much gear (a boat, beach stuff, fishing gear, clothing, food etc) that even after getting up at 6am, making breakfast for everyone, packing, getting the boat out of the water, we made our 10am departure with only a minute to spare. It was a mad scramble.
Hope to see you next year. George-
