Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location. There was a lot of good, but there was also a good amount of bad.
First, the place needs a good cleaning…There were so many large crumbs on the couch and behind the cushions. It was like someone dumped a bag of cookies all over the place. The counter with the microwave was full of crumbs and inside the microwave was a cheese explosion. There were so many large cobwebs and clumps of dust in the corners and near doors. I cleaned all of that. I contacted the concierge service and red awning and never had anyone respond back.
The customer service was awful. We never received our check in instructions but we got a voicemail saying if we didn’t get them by now to call them. I called to be told, don’t call us, call the person in the email (which I didn’t have). I finally got the door code.
The listing should be a little more transparent. There is only a window A/C in the living room. So it was warm in bedroom because of no A/C.
I was looking forward to using the washer/dryer but they are coin operated. Who carries a roll of quarters with them or where am I going to get some on a weekend?
We only had 3 towels during our 4 day trip. We wouldn’t mind washing them, but again, the coin operated laundry. Maybe 4 or 6 towels could have been provided.
The good points were the location, a comfy bed, and a good working bathroom. (The bathroom is small, but it’s totally doable).
Red Awning and the local host disappointed us.
