Beautiful home
This home is filled with things to do for the entire family!!! A lot of toys and space for my one year old. The outdoor area is beautiful and well kept. My teenager loved the loft area. The most important feature about this home is the openness and high ceilings. I LOVED THE ARCHITECTURE. Lastly, it was close to the Navy base.

GROSS Dirty diamond
This place has so much potential. Great location, seemingly safe neighborhood, and close to the Navy base and anything else needed. I hope the owners read this because the property is being POORLY mismanaged by Evolve. We arrived at 4:44pm (check-in is 4pm). There was a lady there that introduced herself as the cleaner. She began throwing bags in the trash bin, handed me the garage door opener (later told I shouldn’t have it), and left quickly. We went in and immediately noticed that the floors were sticky (never went without shoes inside the entire time I was there). The kitchen was filthy, refrigerator turned my stomach, soured dishes in the bottom dishwasher drawer, the stove (never cleaned in months?), everything sticky, dirty dishes in the garage, and the list goes on…like a rubber ducky sitting in the bathroom…dirty bath water went all over me when I picked it up to move it! YUCK! The pictures on VRBO are what the house COULD look like if the house didn’t look lived in. Yes, lived in. When I spoke to Evolve they insisted that no one was living in the home. IMHO I suspect the cleaner is staying there when not rented. Instead, they blamed it on another Navy family partying the night before and not having enough time to clean before we arrived. Really?!? If true, they left dust bunnies everywhere, right? A partial refund was offered. However, on this last day VRBO allows my review…$0 received. Yes, I followed up. Still $0. AVOID anything rented through Evolve!

Navy Graduation
Location is wonderful if you are celebrating your Sailor's graduation. It's about 13 minutes away from base, however, traffic gets crazy around base so you still have to leave really early. The house itself is in a great location. The neighborhood is super quiet and we felt completely safe. The only negative thing I would have to say is that there is only 1 TV in the house that runs off WiFi and 2 of the 3 showers handle was broken, so it took us a minute to figure out you just had to turn it. I was not a fan of the dishwasher, but that's a personal opinion. There was plenty of room, board games, and toys for the little one. He had fun with all the blocks. The teenagers loved the upstairs. We had plenty of space. Our sailor wanted special meals she had missed so we did a lot of cooking. There wasn't a large enough skillet for a family of 6 but enough cookware to get by. The host was wonderful and super sweet. My husband enjoyed sitting outside by the river, it was very peaceful. We would stay here again.

Good space but needs help
The space was great but parts of it are run down. Many things did not work well like the freezer, lights in master bath, dishwasher, no screens on sliding doors. Furniture needs to be replaced in living room. In master bedroom mattress and box springs were on the floor. There were no instructions on how to run anything.

Warm and cozy in Libertyville with an amazing view of the Des Plaines River
This property was absolutely perfect for our family of three couples, a teenager and an afternoon of fun for a five year old and twin three year olds. The master suite is on the ground floor so it was perfect for my parents, the open floor plan made it very easy for my mom to navigate with a walker. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, making coffee, tea and has a very large fridge. The little kids absolutely enjoyed an afternoon of climbing and swinging inside while single digit °F temps were going on outside. The radiant heated floor worked very well to keep the space very comfortable with negative single digit temperatures overnight. The numerous windows allowed us to watch the wildlife in the river along with the occasional ice flow coming down river. The outdoor space and river bank offers a nice quiet place to relax and meditate. The property manager was very nice and quickly responded to any questions we had. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Libertyville retreat with great family room!
We stayed at this property during a lacrosse tournament being held at Canlan Sports Center in Libertyville. The property has a great kitchen and large table where we enjoyed pizza and played games. The Main bedroom has an attached bath, the second bedroom had bunks and a bed which was great for our teenaged son.
