“Great location for our annual family trip home. Janet and Rob are very welcoming and everything was ready and perfect for are 14 night stay. We have tried to book this location in previous years but they were booked. We will definitely be trying again in the future. It’s now top of our list of vacation homes. ”

“We were two couples and found this cottage to work out terrific for our stay. We have time in Chester, Wrexham and Liverpool which made for easy day trips. The host Gary did an excellent job in meeting us at the place and provided a great overview of how everything worked. ”

“Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. ”

“We throughly enjoyed our stay , we had good communication with the owners and the cottage was very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem and it is in a quiet area but very handy for Chester which is a lovey town .The hot tub was great and was used every day . ”

“We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. The kitchen well designed for easy use and very well equipped with everything. Bed really comfortable. We do a lot of walking so the jacuzzi was a massive...

“Property is ideal for a couple, short or longer stay. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent within a quiet area very close to City Centre. Great shops - highly recommended Butcher - and three great Pubs with nearest next door but one and furthest about a minute away. Parking on road is limited to 30 minutes between 0800 and 1800, but parking available close by, and was ok. Would recommend this property.”

“We had a great stay on Bath St. The house was brilliantly appointed, Andy and Barbara were extremely welcoming and thoughtful hosts who had provided everything we could need for a really comfortable stay. The location, right in Chester City is fantastic, but enough of a step off the beaten track to be quiet and relaxing inside. ”

“Excellent accommodation, a lovely flat and an excellent location. The only issue we had was that Sykes who manage this property gave us the incorrect door code to gain access to the main part of the building ”

“This accommodation was great , listening to the water running in the river was very therapeutic. Definitely return to Dee Heights and will recommend family and friends to stay here .”

“The property had everything I needed to make it feel like a home from home. The location is excellent having easy access to the shops, the local park, the city wall and the train station. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.”

“The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.”
