“We stayed here for Fall Break and absolutely loved Mark's property. It was in the perfect location, off the beaten path but the Bear Lake community offered several close to home amenities and very convenient hiking trails. The cabin was very well-appointed, comfortable and Mark's communication leading up to our stay was outstanding. We plan on coming back for future getaways! ”

“Once we saw that Waynesville was open to visitors We booked last minute to come up for apples and to enjoy the Apple Festival. This property was perfect! One block off Main Street and walking distance to the festival and downtown Waynesville with lots of neat stores and restaurants. Very clean, bed was really nice--much more comfortable than most rentals. We didn't use the twin in the 2nd room but I assume it was just as nice. WIFI and cable TV were excellent--included local channels and ESPN!...

“Place was amazing. Very clean and appliances were all new. Spacious accommodations. Lovely firepit sits outside right along a small creek. Firewood provided. Gas grill like new also available on the large deck. I cant say enough positive things about this house. Lovely stay”

“We loved our stay at this cabin! The hot tub was a real treat! I deducted one star due to the cleanliness of the property. When we arrived, there were dead bugs and twigs/leaves in the master bed. We live in the woods ourselves, so we know these things happen, but it was as if the bedding hadnt been changed before being made. There were no extra linens so i swept the bed off with a clean, dry towel. We also ran out of bath towels on day 2 so I washed a load but discovered that the dryer does not...

“The cottage has a great kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bed/bedroom and a wonderful host. There is pretty river just across the road if you want to hang out on the front deck. It is not far from Waynesville if you want to shop or dine out. I would gladly stay there again.”

Very close to Main Street activities and central to outdoor adventures. Upon arrival, the hosts had fresh baked, delicious strawberry and blueberry muffins there for us! Great place to stay!”
