“We spent 8 nights at Maison L’allee at the end of August. It had everything we needed. Beautiful pool that was exceptionally well maintained. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. The pool benefits from the sun all day and lends itself to pleasant sunsets and stunning star gazing. Lyn and Paul are laid back, friendly and discreet. They made us and our two dogs feel welcome. “What can we say but, wow! We spent two weeks in this beautiful gite and it’s the best we’ve ever stayed in. Peaceful location just 15 mins to La Rochefoucauld with a huge Leclerc supermarket or Montbron with an Aldi and Intermarche. Plenty of local shops and markets to indulge in too.Bigger towns like Angouleme and Limoges are less than an hour away, so plenty to see and do. But if you just want to relax, the private heated pool (I didn’t measure it but must be 5m x 12m and 1.6 at the deep end...

“We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.”

"Era un viaje de paso con la familia y la ubicación con referencia a restaurantes para cenar estaba perfecta, teníamos un burguer King , MacDonalds y . La única pega que me vimos al hotel que el wáter no funcionaba correctamente, pero por calidad precios era económico. Si hubiéramos sabido hablar en francés lo hubiéramos comunicado al hotel, pero como nos sabemos inglés, era de noche y solo estábamos de paso lo dejamos pasar. "
